Inspired by Calvados, Normandy
This handmade little bowl is suitable for salads, pasta, curry, homemade soup… It’s unique glossy ox blood finish on the inside really showcases each little dish. The ox blood is a beautiful pigment I found in Calvados, Normandy. This deep red-brown colour is used for the traditional timbered colourful houses in Normandy. Every bowl in this series is slightly different in shape, size and hand colouring.
