Dining chairs take the worst of family life: spilled wine, sticky hands, and a seat pad that wears shiny long before the frame gives up. Elm pulls over the chair like a fitted sleeve, hides what is underneath and takes the next spill on a waterproof layer instead of your upholstery.
Why you’ll love it
- Spills Stay On Top: The waterproof layer stops liquids from soaking through to the padding, so a knocked glass is a wipe rather than a stain.
- Stretches To Fit: The ultra-stretch fabric pulls tight over most standard chairs, so it sits smooth instead of bunching at the corners.
- Jacquard Texture: The woven jacquard pattern gives the seat a finished, deliberate look rather than the flat sheen of a plain cover.
- Straight In The Wash: When it does get dirty, it goes into the washing machine, so refreshing a chair takes no more effort than doing laundry.

Good to know
Fit the cover from the back of the chair forward, pull it down evenly at each corner, then work the slack toward the underside of the seat so the front edge stays flat. On chairs that see daily use it is worth buying an even number in one color, so you can wash half the set and keep the table looking consistent.
