Common questions
Is this an air conditioner?
No — the Marin is an evaporative air cooler. You fill the tank with water, and the airflow is cooled as that water evaporates. It uses minimal power and runs much more quietly than a conventional air conditioner, but expect a cool, fresh breeze rather than an AC-style chilled room.
How long does one tank last?
The 900 ml (approx. 30 fl oz) tank is large enough for several hours of operation before it needs a refill.
How do I maintain it?
Top up the water during longer sessions, and clean the tank and filter regularly to keep it running fresh.
Where can I use it?
At home, in the office, while traveling, or camping — set it down wherever the heat finds you.
Can I adjust the airflow?
Yes — multiple fan speeds and cooling intensities let you dial in exactly the breeze you want.
